What I Wore | Farewell Ball

I know I have been a bit MIA with my blogging, tweeting and facebooking recently, but life has been hectic! I have been to Edinburgh and back for a job interview, attended my farewell ball and there are only two more weeks of college left! Today I have a ‘What I Wore’ post of my outfit for the ball.

The only thing I actually bought specifically for this outfit for my farewell ball was my earrings, so it was a pretty inexpensive and recycled look. First things first, the dress, I actually got this from my aunty and it’s about twenty years old. It is a quite simple style dress with a v-neckline and an up and down understated silhouette. The added detail in the stitching and sequins is what makes it different and gives it an old Hollywood feel.  Due to this, I decided to team it with black patent and gold accessories.
My shoes are from Korky’s and I got them last May for my 21stparty. They were about €30 and are a lot more comfy than they look. My half gold half black patent clutch is something I picked up a couple of years ago in a charity shop for €15. My cuff is from Forever 21 and I got these earrings in New Look last week while I was in Edinburgh.
I have tried my best to recreate the look below for you guys, seeing what I am wearing is a miss match of items I have picked up over the years.

I hope you guys like the look, I’d love to know your opinions on here, Facebook or Twitter! Thanks to everyone for reading and don’t forget to follow me by email above or Bloglovin if you want to keep up to date with my latest posts!
