What I Wore | Mint Double Tier Blouse

Last week while I was in Edinburgh I went on a little shopping spree after my interview was over. A bit of retail therapy was definitely needed while I was over there! So on that note, my main focus for this post is this lovely little blouse I picked up in Primark/Penneys for £12.

This blouse is gorgeous and perfect for the spring/ summer seasons. It is a light pastel mint shade with cute little flower details embedded in the collar.  The shape is quite different as it features a two tier style design. I have never really seen this kind of shaped top before, but I love it! I think it is really flattering, especially if you want to draw attention away from your mid section and emphasise your waist.
Here, I wore it with my beloved black skater skirt also from Penneys. This skirt is definitely one of my best buys in years, as I wear it practically every week and it only set me back €9! Great value for money! I know I should have added more colour to this outfit as we are coming into the summer but I was in a rush that morning and just grabbed my black cape style cardigan from River Island.
I think this blouse would look great with light wash denim jeans and a white blazer. A white blazer is something that is on my wish list this spring/summer as it is the perfect alternative to black. I could also see myself wearing this top with a high waist black pencil skirt for a more professional look. Currently, I am doing lots of interviews so I am trying my best to buy multi-use products!

What does everyone think of my outfit? Have you spotted any nice pieces in Penneys/Primark recently? Also, any advice on where I can pick up a nice white blazer? Thanks to everyone for reading
