This is something I wore to college last week. When I woke up in the morning it was nice and sunny so I thought it was a day for a colour pop blazer. But sadly as the day went on the rain came and that little glimpse of sun we had was gone.

I got this blazer about two years ago in River Island for about €40 at the time, but was well worth it because it is made from really nice material and has a silk inner lining. The burnt orange colour is a bit unusual but complements this dress nicely. It would look equally as good thrown over light denim jeans and a simple top with some gold detail jewellery. This blazer is very light so it will be perfect for when the evenings are getting longer.

My dress is from Forever 21 and I bought it at the start of last summer. It has a great shape as it cinches you in at the waist and flows down. I think it is a nice subtle take on the floral trend as the pattern is not too in your face. The dress has a button up front and a black chiffon bow at the collar with a dainty floral pattern running through it. When it starts to get warmer you could pair it with a denim jacket, gladiator sandals and some sunnies! I got my brogues when I was in America last summer, but you can find similar ones to these in Penneys/Primark or New Look at the moment.
What’s everyone think of this dress? Are you investing in new florals this season or recycling what you already have in your wardrobes? Thanks for reading and I would love to hear your comments and what you thought of this outfit, I always try to reply as soon as I can!
