What I Wore | Monochrome Bow Detailed Dress

Today’s outfit is something I wore last week when I went out for dinner. It was really windy that night so my hair is all over the place in some of these photos. But, more importantly you can still see the dress!

I got this dress about a year and a half ago in Forever 21 for around €20. I used to always wear it when I first bought it and forgot how much I love it! It’s a button up skater style dress with a simple bow pattern running through it. This dress has a very flattering fit and hugs you in all the right places giving you a nice flirty and feminine, fit and flare shape. The monochrome colouring makes it stand out and a little different, with the white collar and panelled line running through the bottom half of the dress. Here I have teamed it with a smart black tuxedo style blazer from Awear which was €15 in the sale around September last. I also wore my black heeled Chelsea boots in a suedette finish from H&M which set me back £20 so around €25. For a pop of colour, I would usually pair this monochrome patterned dress with my bright pink boyfriend blazer, but sadly I didn’t have that up in Dublin with me.
I was looking online to try and find a similar dress to this for you guys but couldn’t find one anywhere! If you’re looking for something similar my best bet would be to first check out Penneys/Primark and then the rest of the high street like New Look, Forever 21 and H&M.

What do you guys think of this dress? Would you wear it with black or a pop of colour? Thanks again for reading and if you want to keep up to date on all my new posts please follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Bloglovin or Instagram!
