How To Style It | Black Blazer

Welcome back to my weekly blogging series on ‘How to Style It’! Over the past week I have got a lot of positive feedback from this post and even a request from one of my followers on Twitter to style a black blazer today. I’m delighted that people are reading my posts and getting inspiration from them!

A simple black blazer is a perfect addition to all wardrobes! It can be styled in many ways to dress your look up or give it some structure.  Personally I love blazers from H&M; they usually have a great selection in store catering for many different sizes and styles. If you are looking for a boyfriend style, a tuxedo shape or a fitted blazer they are bound to have it!
How to Style it | Dressy Daytime
My first look is for a dressy day time look. It is perfect if you have a presentation in college or work, or even if you just feel like dressing up a little! Here, I have teamed the blazer with these high waist skinny jeans from New Look and a flowy chiffon top from River Island. To add a bit of colour to the outfit I went for a two toned coral top. Accessories are key for this look! This chunky necklace is trendy and adds a bit of individuality to the outfit. I have also gone for these strappy heels and large tote bag to complete the outfit.

How to style it | Night Out!

A night out is another great way to wear your favourite black blazer! Sometimes it can be too cold to go out without a jacket but coats can be too heavy for nights out. I absolutely love this dress! I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I think it’s gorgeous. I think it speaks for itself and doesn’t need many accessories. These peep-toe show boots would be a perfect addition and would look well teamed with this monochrome envelope clutch. All you need now is somewhere to go!

How to style it | Casual wear

Jeans Boots Top Snood Bag
For my final look, I am focusing on a styled down casual look. It is perfect for when you just want to throw your blazer over whatever you are wearing or if you’re in a rush! I have picked these stone washed jeans and plain burgundy top for this look. They are casual and comfy and go really well with the blazer! I think these cut out boots give the look a cool edge accessory-wise and burgundy tote and snood would be a perfect addition.
