Sorry for the lack of posts in the last week! It was my first week back to college after the break and I have been quite busy in the evenings so I didn’t get the time to write up any posts. But anyways today I have an outfit post for you all!
Due to the fact that my blog focuses on inexpensive and affordable style you may have noticed that my clothing pieces may feature more than once and in different posts. My main reasoning for this is to show you all how you can style one or two pieces of clothing in many different ways. And hopefully some of the pieces I feature are similar to things that you have in your own wardrobe! Today I have another “What I Wore” post but I thought I would spruce it up a little with two outfits I have featured previously on the blog and one completely new one! Here, you can see how I have styled this simple moss green skater dress from Penneys/Primark and this statement Aztec print monochrome blouse. If you want to check out my previous posts on how I styled the first two outfits they are here – Skater dress and Aztec Print. In this post I am going to talk mainly about the third outfit, but I thought it would be nice to show you all how I have previously styled these two pieces and hopefully it will give you some inspiration in the styling of some of your outfits in the future!
Looking back at the previous two outfits I thought that this Aztec blouse would go perfectly with my beloved moss green skater dress! It’s a quite simple outfit that can be thrown together fairly quickly, perfect if you are rushing around in the morning and don’t have the time to think about what you are going to wear. To add a bit more warmth in the cold January air I added my black blazer from River Island (another regular feature on here), black opaque’s and a pair of simple flat Chelsea style ankle boots.
What does everyone think of the way I have style the three outfits? Do you ever find yourself layering shirts or blouses over skirts and dresses?
