I wanted to get this post up just after Christmas but unfortunately I didn’t get the chance! Anyways better late than never, here’s my sales edit and what I got!I got a different range of items, mainly casual and the majority black! I seem to wear a lot of black in the winter months, but as the spring/summer season starts and the weather warms up I’ll be wearing brighter colours, I promise! Even though I was late going shopping I still managed to nab a few bargains! I did go a bit shopping mad but the most expensive thing I bought was about €20, so all these pieces are inexpensive and stylish! (In my opinion)
Tartan Shorts – New Look
As you know if you read my blog I am obsessed with all things tartan, so it was no surprise I added another addition to my collection during the sales! These shorts are perfect for this time of year teamed with black opaque tights! I love the dark moss green colour contrasted with the black, they look quite classic. They were €15 down from €24.99 and I hope to be wearing them a lot over the next few months!
PU Skirt – Topshop
This PU skirt is from the Lashes of London edit in Topshop. This skirt was originally €65 but I managed to get it at the reasonable price of €18. It’s a really nice fit and as it cinches at your waist then flows down to give a nice effect. What caught my eye about this skirt was the cut out detailing. It’s very easy to wear, I can see myself dressing it up for nights out with button up blouses and contrastingly down for college with tights and cardigans.
Aztec Blouse – New Look
When I saw this blouse I knew I had to buy it, the only one left was in a size 12 and it’s a bit big on me, but I love it! I plan on wearing it oversized and baggy over tank tops and skirts or jeans. It’s very versatile and could be worn as easily in the summer as winter months. And it was a bargain at only €9, down from around €25 (I can’t remember exactly and I’ve thrown out the tag).
Kimono – New Look
For the past few months I have been on the lookout for a nice Kimono that I can start wearing now and that will lead me into the Spring/Summer months! This one is perfect for now and to wear right through the Spring/Summer season. The black is perfect for the winter ( I love black, it is a weakness of mine!) while the embroidery and different pink, gold and blue colours will make it as easily wearable in the summer! I think this would look great with denim shorts and cute sundresses as the weather warms up! But for now I will be wearing it with jeans and dresses with tights.
Velvet Skirt – Forever 21
I am in love with velvet at the moment and I thought this skirt would be a great staple piece for my wardrobe! It’s a plain black high waist black velvet skirt from Forever 21 that cost €9.99. This is a very versatile piece and I think bodycon skirts are always handy to have in your wardrobe as they go with basically everything!
Tartan Coat – Penneys/Primark
I thought this coat was such a bargain! You may have seen it
here in my last post. It was only €15 in Penneys/Primark, which is so good for a coat that will last me now and into next winter. The light material and design is what I like most about this!
Monochrome Blazer – Stradivarius
You might have seen this on a recent post of mine
here. I love this cardigan/blazer and since buying it I have got lots of compliments and comments so I thought I would feature it in this post and let you all know where I got it. It’s from Stradivarius and was in the sale for €20 down from €30.
Brown Suede Boots – Penneys/Primark
These brown boots were only €5, I couldn’t believe the price when I saw them! I was looking at them maybe last month and decided not to buy them but when I saw them at this price couldn’t leave them behind! They are really comfy and easy to wear and will go with everything from jeans, shorts, skirts to dresses.
Black Jewel Top – Topshop
This top is quite simple and I got it to go with shorts and skirts that I already have in my wardrobe. I really loved the green and blue jewel design around the collar and the fabric is really stretchy, airy and soft. This was €20 down from €40.
I hope everyone liked this post! I would love to know what your favourite pieces are? What was everyone’s biggest sales bargain? Thanks for stopping by!
