What I Wore | Tartan Coat

The last couple of days have been busy busy for me! I have been in Dublin, Waterford and now I am back to Laois for a few days. I am quite happy to relax and not have to do anything over the next couple days; it has been a very busy Christmas for me with the two weddings on top of everything else! But now I am back to blogging and I have quite a few posts lined up for you guys over the over the next week J

If you follow my blog you would have noticed a lot of my pieces are from Penneys/Primark and this coat is just another example. I picked up this black and white tartan coat in the sales just after Christmas. It was such good value as it only set me back €15; I think it was reduced from about €30. Boyfriend style jackets are something I wear a lot, I love the oversized look. So this coat will fit in with the rest of my wardrobe quite nicely. The one thing I love about this coat is that the material isn’t too heavy. It is perfect for this time of year, and as the weather gets a bit warmer. It’s a fitting addition to my wardrobe for the transition from winter to spring.
As it has been quite cold as of late I teamed this coat with a warm ruby red knitted scarf and plain black leather gloves. This scarf is ideal for this time of year to layer over any outfit to keep you warm and the colour is perfect if you don’t want to say goodbye to Christmas just yet! It’s from Bershka and I got it as a Kris Kindle present a couple of years ago. My gloves are again Penneys/Primark and were €8; I was looking for a nice pair of black leather gloves and thought I couldn’t get better value than these!
