Styling | Festival Favourites

Festival season is well and truly upon us. In the next few weeks we will see the long anticipated arrival of Ireland’s most popular music festival, Electric Picnic. Trying to survive festivals alone can be a challenge before you even have to worry about what you are going to wear! Festivals in Ireland are even more challenging with the unpredictability of the weather thrown in on top of all your other worries.

That is why I have picked out my top ten festival fashion favourites to make your outfit planning easier whilst trying to avoid packing the whole kitchen sink! I have carefully chosen pieces that you can mix or match for rain or shine, night or day.

Dress | Denim Shorts | Camisole | Cable Knit Jumper Suedette Skirt | Wellies | Quilted BackpackWatch | Pattern Trousers | Hat

I love this green strappy skater style dress from Penneys and it’s a bargain at only €5.00. If you are blessed with the weather this would look great with bare legs or if the heavens open it would look equally gorgeous with black tights and ankle boots or ankle wellies. The same goes for these shorts also from Penneys! These camisole tops again from Penneys are perfect for layering and ideal for festivals, what’s more they come in a range of different colours and are only €5.00.

What does everyone think of these patent ankle wellies from New Look? I’d even wear them for everyday wear not just festivals, they would look great with a pair of skinny jeans and oversized check shirt for a casual day time look.

What is your favourite piece? Are you going to Electric Picnic or any other festivals over the next few weeks?
