Now that I have finally launched the new site for The Savvy Styler, I can get back to regularly posting my personal styles posts and what I am lusting for at the moment.

Today I have an outfit post focusing on a minimalist waistcoat that I picked up in New Look a few months ago. Tailored knee-length waistcoats are certainly something that is on trend in the fashion world at the moment. What I love about this black one from New Look is the fact that it is bought structured and lightweight at the same time. It is the perfect addition to bring you from the office to a dinner date or an evening out with friends after work.

Here, I have gone for a monochrome look by teaming it with black skinny jeans and a simple white cami top, also from New Look. If I remember correctly this blazer was only €29.99, which I think, is a bargain compared to some of the price tags I have seen for similar types of waistcoats.

With Ireland being Ireland you may not want to chance “arms out” for an evening unless you are guaranteed somewhat summer like temperatures. For an alternative and Irish weather friendly look, this would also look great paired with a chiffon blouse or three quarter length sleeved dress.
