What I Wore | Coral Drape Dress

Last weekend I was at my cousin’s wedding down in Waterford. It was such a lovely day as it was on a Friday and this allowed me to take an extra-long weekend off work. Initially I was humming and hawing over three dresses. But in the end I opted for this coral dress from Oasis. Usually I don’t buy much in Oasis as I find it quite expensive and hard to justify for my budget. But I luckily found this dress in the sale for only €19! I couldn’t believe the price tag when I saw it, especially seeing it was reduced from around €70!

The dress is a gorgeous bright coral colour made from a silky chiffon feel material. The twisted drape effect at the front of the dress is what caught my eye off the hanger.  The overall twist effect teamed with the shift style is what makes the dress perfect for many different shapes and sizes. The twisted front is great if you are bit self-conscious about your mid-section. It hides a multitude of sins and you can actually enjoy your dinner without the fear of bloating getting in your way of a night out or a wedding!

I kept the rest of my look quite simple with black and gold accessories. I added this black clutch from New Look and pointed snake skin style point heels from River Island. Which are unbelievably comfy by the way! I danced in them all night and didn’t feel the need to change into the provided flip flops! Congrats Jean and Martin!
