I am on a roll so far this week and have managed to get two posts up! I know this might not seem like a lot but with a busy schedule it is just perfect at the minute. Today I have a ‘What I Wore’ for you all. As I mentioned in a few previous posts I was in Portugal a few weeks ago. This outfit is something I wore when we went on a day trip to a nearby beach outside Lisbon in the fishing port town of Cascais.
It was such a gorgeous day as you can see by the photos, so I decided to wear this blue and white pattern playsuit that I bought in Zara last summer. This is such a simple outfit but it is perfect for a day lounging by the beach, walking around the port or even going on a boat tour! It’s a great fit and the light chiffon/silk material is ideal for warm weather. Currently in the shops, I have seen lots of similar playsuits around. Penneys/Primark have a few great ones in at the moment in many different prints and block -colours for only €7.
I have teamed this playsuit with my black patterned Kimono from New Look for a light cover up. This Kimono was such a great buy at only €9 in the January sales. I find myself wearing it with just about everything from light summer dresses to jeans. You should pick yourself up one if you haven’t already got one already, I am sure there will be plenty in the June sales! I finished off this look with my black toms that I picked up in the States last summer.
