Last night I finished my last ever college exam! It’s crazy to think that I have completed four years of college; it seems like only yesterday when I arrived in UCD. It still hasn’t sunk in yet that I am finished but I’m sure it will very soon as I start a new job in 12 days! Eeck! Due to the fact that I have very little time between finishing and heading into the big bad world, two weeks ago I booked a four day trip to Lisbon. On that note, my inspiration for today’s post is a sort of holiday/summer inspired Wishlist.
Floral Necklace – €5.90 Sandals – €24.95 Blue Geometric Shorts – €40 Denim Shorts – €29.95 Bikini Top – €4.95 Bikini Bottoms – €4.95 Blue Floral Pants – €43 Cream Floral Kimono – €24.99 Cream Lace Top – €22.99
It seems I have developed a little theme within my Wishlist, a love for the colour blue! I love all these pieces as they are very interchangeable and can be miss matched together. My favourite would have to be these geometric print shorts from River Island and I think they would look great with this cream lace top from New Look. They would be perfect for Ireland and somewhere sunny if you are going away. They would look equally as chic paired with light tights and a black vest top with a kimono thrown over for a more Irish weather appropriate look. For a more casual beachy style, the denim shorts, lace top and kimono would be ideal thrown together for an effortless style. This Kimono is great, I have a black embroidered one myself but I just love how the colours pop on this off its cream background and give it a feminine feel.
What are your favourite pieces? Is anyone else going away for a short break or are you lucky enough to go away for the whole summer? I hope you guys like some of the pieces I am lusting after! Today I am off shopping in the hunt for some business appropriate work wear, so if anyone knows some nice places that do work wear please let me know! The idea of dressing like a ‘grown up’ is completely unknown to me! Thanks to everyone for reading and I hope to be posting a lot more seeing I am finished college.
