Here’s something I wore last week while the sun was shining and it was starting to feel more and more like the summer. At the moment I am on midterm from college, so during the week I went on a girl’s day out and we went shopping in Liffey Valley. Nearly everything I am wearing here I bought shopping so I promise I will have a haul post up soon! I found plenty of bargains in the New Look sale!
I absolutely adore this blue top! I have always loved cobalt blue colours but this top makes me even love it more. I bought this last week in New Look. I must say I was really impressed with The New Look out there; it’s by far my favourite! The shop is really easy to navigate and everything is laid out clearly. This top was €14.99 plus my 10% student discount off. I thought it was great value and it certainly doesn’t look or feel that cheap! Can you imagine the price if it was from Topshop?
My floral bodycon skirt is also something I picked up last week in New Look and was only €11.99. I really like the dainty floral pattern on this skirt and I think it goes really well with my colour block top. I can see myself wearing this throughout the summer with blue or cream cami tops, or for a night out with wedge sandals and legs out.! My shoes are also a new addition from New Look (I am obsessed with that shop!), they were only €12 in the sale. They were a complete bargain and are of great quality, I can see them lasting me throughout the seasons, as they are a very versatile style and colour. To complete this look I paired it with my statement black and gold necklace from Penneys.
During the day, as you can see here, I wore this outfit with my acid washed denim jacket from Penneys/Primark. But because I was out all day and I was going to Derren Brown that night I threw my black boyfriend style blazer in my handbag to transform it from a day to night look!
What does everyone think of my outfit? Is it getting you in the summery mood? Thanks to everyone for reading and don’t forget to follow me on Facebook, Twitter and Bloglovin if you want to keep up to date with more updates from The Savvy Styler.
