First, I would like to thank everyone who has supported my blog over the last six weeks! Yesterday I reached two milestones; 100 bloglovin’ followers and over 4,000 views! I am so happy about this and it is all thanks to all of you my lovely readers. This truly means a lot to me and I hope I can grow this blog more and more over the next year with your support!
Now on to today’s post, tomorrow I am jetting off to Amsterdam for a few days and I thought it would be a great idea to do a ‘What’s In My Suitcase’ type of post and create a few looks that you guys could wear to the airport if you’re going anywhere nice too!

Firstly, the essentials, I have been looking up the weather and it’s quite cold in Amsterdam at the moment so I will be bringing lots of warm jumpers, a big coat and cosy winter accessories. I have kinda gone with a theme colour with my packing unintentionally, lots of blacks, monochrome and a few check pieces thrown in too. Due to the fact I haven’t checked a bag, I am just bringing my carry on, I am bringing a lot of interchangeable pieces. A few blouses to throw over skirts or dresses, two cardigan/blazer jackets and a few tops. Basically, everything goes with everything and I think that’s important when you are packing to go anywhere because it gives you a lot of different choices and versatility! I am also bringing a few bits of jewellery, one statement necklace and a cuff. I always wear my watch, Pandora and a ring so I don’t count them! I haven’t brought much going out and dressy up clothes because I am going with my boyfriend so we won’t be partying in clubs till the early hours! But I have brought a few nice pieces to wear to dinner in the evenings or for a few drinks! Also, you can’t forget the beauty essentials! I am just bringing the basics and my Naked 3 Palette, so I can do a smoky eye during the night and a light day time look.
So that’s me packed! But I thought it would be nice to put together for you guys a few outfits that you could wear travelling too! J
The City Break
This first look I would wear if you were going on a city break, you’ll be comfortable and stylish at the same time. I love these two River Island sale pieces, I quite like how they are clashing prints but it is quite subtle because of the embossed jacquard print on the trousers. I think they go well with the foulard print blazer and this blazer is down from €80 to €18! That’s such a bargain, especially for a piece that you could wear from now into the spring and then resurrect it again next autumn. Accessories, I have gone minimalistic as you don’t want to be taking everything on and off as you go through security!
Black Jacquard Skinny Trousers (River Island) – €18.00
Black Leather Look Tote (New Look) – €29.99
Black Foulard Print Blazer (River Island) – €18.00
Collar Top (New Look) – €14.99
Black Patent Brogues (New Look) – €19.99
Gold and Black Stone Ring (New Look) – €6.99
Gold and Black Filigree Cuff (New Look) – €8.99
The Sun Holiday
If you are lucky enough to be jetting off to catch some sun I have a completely different look for you that you can wear leaving cold Ireland or wherever you may be until you arrive to warm weather. I love this dress and it’s suitable for Ireland with tights and when you arrive at your sunny destination, just ditch the tights for a more summery look. I think this blossom print kimono would look great over this dress and it is quite light if you’re going to warmer climates. Just change from the brogues to sandals and you’re ready to go.
Cap Swing Dress (Boohoo) – €22.00
Brown Leather Look Brogues (New Look) – €9.20
Blossom Print Kimono (Boohoo) – €16.00
Tan Cross Body Bag (New Look) – €19.99
Burgundy Fedora (New Look) – €17.99
Gladiator Sandals (New Look) – €24.99
