SS16 | Staying on Trend

Each new season I like to invest in a few key pieces that will allow me to stay stylish without looking like I am over doing it. I believe adding subtle nods to trends that you like is much nicer than attempting to look like a mannequin straight from a high street shop window. It is also a lot healthier for your bank balance!

As the weather starts to (hopefully) pick up and we start to see some resemblance of spring we can finally hang up our winter coats in replacement of spring dresses, playsuits and bomber jackets ( I am on the lookout for a nice one so please let me know if you come across any!). Today, I am going to look at some of the key pieces that I see myself investing in over the next few month to see me through the warmer seasons on trend. All the items I have chosen are pieces that I can weave into my current wardrobe and hopefully you can too. I think the main thing is to have the basics covered first and then start adding ‘on trend’ pieces to spruce up an outfit.

What do you think you will be investing in this Spring/Summer to keep you on trend?
