Last weekend I jetted off to Paris with a few friends for a baguette and wine filled weekend. I had an amazing time and the weather was good enough to finally allow me to take some much needed outfit pictures. I feel like it has been ages since I have had an outfit post on this! (I’m blaming the dark evenings!) These photos were taken in the Luxembourg gardens, one of my favourite places that we went at the weekend.
Recently I was wandering through Mango in Arnotts and spotted this gorgeous grey collarless coat. I wasn’t on the lookout for a new coat or anything but seeing there was 30% off coats that day I decided to try it on. I fell in love and have been unable to peel it off my back since! I really like the simple detail of it and the fact that it can be worn during the day or at night for a more formal occasion. The collarless detail and chunky black buttons are very Chanel like in my opinion, but for a fraction of the cost. It is also not too heavy so you won’t be roasting when you hop on public transport, it seems to me that the buses have the heat on full blast these days!
In my opinion the coat looks a lot more than it set me back, after the discount in Mango it was only €55 down from €80. Which I think is amazingly good value for a winter coat that will hopefully last me a few seasons.
