Last Wednesday night I attended the launch of the Paul Costello Living Studio collection for Dunnes Stores. The event was hosted at the Dawson Brasserie in town and the event was fun filled with wine, macaroons and of course fashion!
The collection is chic and understated taking inspiration from the Italian countryside. The colour palette mixing bright magenta hues, vibrant oranges and timeless blacks work seamlessly together to cater for the modern woman. The collection uses the most luxurious Italian fabrics, featuring a selection of cashmere and wool blend coats. I think my favourites are the black and grey collarless coats, it is a style I am loving this winter. It just screams elegance! I am also loving the block colour shift dresses, the red detail on the black one is just exquisite (you can’t really see in the photos but the black has gorgeous red detail pockets and cap sleeves).
The accessories that complement the collection have been inspired by the equestrian mood of the moment and include leather totes and cross body satchels, all of which are from Dunnes Stores
It was a great event that I felt privileged to be invited to. Paul Costello himself seemed very down to earth and a genuinely friendly man. He went around to everyone before the event started and thanked each one of us for coming, which I thought was really nice.
What does everyone think of the collection? Are you tempted to invest in one of these amazing coats or dresses?
