Christmas is over, people are going back to work and College will soon be starting up again and everything will be back to normal. With this in mind I thought it would be the perfect time to banish the January blues and get everyone looking forward to the spring. I have compiled below some of the key trends and looks that I think we will be wearing when the weather starts to get a little bit warmer. That could take a while with the weather we have in Ireland! Although, I love warm winter knits and everything in dark colours, I must admit, I am looking forward to putting these pieces to the back of my wardrobe momentarily and replacing them with some pastel shades
Recently, the highstreet has been giving us a sneak peek of their spring preview and so far I am seeing a lot of pastels and a new mono pastel trend, which is a softer take on the ever popular monochrome trend. Denim will also be back in full swing, I love these patterned jeans below from New Look for €29.99. I know I will be resurrecting my old denim shirts and layering them over light pastels and monchromes. The pink structured skater skirt from River Island below is something I hope to be investing in. It will go perfectly with a light cami like the ones featured below or a collared sleeveless shirt. Hope you like my picks from below!
Pale Blue Sleeveless (New Look) – €14.99
Tan Tote (New Look) – €29.99
